Why do you need IndyEd.com?
How is IndyEd.com different from other platforms?
First, let's talk about what IndyEd.com is not. IndyEd.com is not here to reinvent the wheel. We are creating an entirely new vehicle! We are not a learning platform. Learning platforms charge you high fees per sale to handle things like enrollments, payments, and content delivery. IndyEd.com is a marketing platform.
Indyed.com makes it easier for learners to find you by consolidating all of those educators and educational opportunities in one place. Learners can quickly find what they are looking for using our powerful search filters, and then be directed to you to complete the purchase. We aren't here to run your business, control your content, sell your classes, or take commissions from your bottom line. We are here to connect you with learners. From there, you take over.
Whether you are selling your content through a learning platform or your own website, IndyEd.com is for you! Your IndyEd.com listings link to wherever you offer your educational opportunities. Again, there are no sales based commissions or service fees. Just a flat rate annual marketing fee. Plus, you will get frequent marketing advice and tips to improve not just your IndyEd.com profile and listings, but your own website as well. Tips include asking for reviews, graphic design, SEO, and more.
In addition to your database listings, we offer ongoing weekly and monthly promotions to help increase your visibility! We are partnered with some of the largest homeschool facebook groups for EXCLUSIVE weekly advertising for our members. IndyEd.com is an active marketing program, not just a static listing on a website.

Frequently Asked Questions
You create listings for each of your educational products. These are descriptions of your online classes, educational resources, in-person experiences, etc. that allow a learner to decide if it’s something they are interested in. If they are, they can either contact you directly for more information, or you can provide a link to where they can get more information, enroll, pay, access the product, etc.
No. If you only have your content listed on learning platforms (Outschool, AllSchool, Teachers Pay Teachers, etc.), that is not a problem. You just link your product listing to the page on the platform. If you are considering becoming more independent, use IndyEd.com as your website! List all of your educational products here, and then link students to your enrollment/payment forms and content.
You must have your own capabilities for enrolling students, receiving payments, and delivering content. IndyEd.com only markets your content, we do not sell your content. This can be a link to your website or to learning platforms such as Allschool or Teachers Pay Teachers.
You can list Online classes (Live Group, Asynchronous, Self-Paced, and Private Tutoring/Lessons), Educational Resources (Downloadables, Kits, Textbooks, Workbooks, Manipulatives), In-Person Experiences (Classes, Camps, Private Tutoring, Workshops, etc.), and Online Schools. Read a detailed description of all of our product types. You can list educational products that are secular or non-secular (religious) in nature, and for learners ages 2 to 102!
Absolutely NOT! IndyEd.com is taking the corporation out of education. We don’t even have access to your classes, resources, etc., much less any rights to them. With IndyEd.com your content always remains under your control.
Yes. However, we keep these two educational categories completely separate in the system. In order to offer both types of products, you must have two separate accounts- one for your secular products and one for your non-secular products.
Learner traffic is driven to IndyEd.com with Google ads, social media ads and posts, podcasts, blogs, email lists, excellent SEO, etc. all of the modern techniques. The beauty of this platform is that very few independent teachers could ever afford a huge marketing campaign on their own. Educators pay a yearly membership fee (see above) which, pooled together, pays for marketing costs. This increases your advertising power, kind of like a marketing co-op!
