Description
In this 10-lesson asynchronous course, students will work on analytical essays, utilizing solid textual evidence, MLA formatting, and advanced writing techniques.
As an experienced AP and dual credit instructor, I have firsthand knowledge of what college professors expect in student writing. Argumentative and analytical essays are among the most frequently assigned papers in college. My aim is to enhance learners' understanding of these essay types, improve their organizational and writing skills, demonstrate various methods for strengthening and citing textual evidence, and review the MLA process. I strive to boost learners' confidence in their research, writing, and citation abilities.
Learners should have access to typing software such as Google Docs or Word to ensure they know how to properly set up and type a document in MLA format.
Course Format
***This Is An Asynchronous Class, meaning I will be providing feedback on any enrichments or assessments you turn in to me***
This course covers 10 lessons, offering a comprehensive, asynchronous learning experience. Signing up for asynchronous learning means that I will be providing you feedback on your enrichment activities. If you are not looking for that added feature, please choose the self-paced class option instead.
