This Explore Reading course focuses on developing critical reading skills, comprehension, and metacognition, which involves understanding what our brains are doing while we read. Vocabulary acquisition is emphasized through a dedicated curriculum and word study within nonfiction texts. The course is designed to help students read and understand more complex passages with greater confidence and comprehension. (Semester 1 of 1)
