This online course is available at any time.  Students may complete the course at their own pace and advance to the next level of learning.

This Kindergarten Reading course provides a foundation for formalized reading and writing instruction. Areas addressed include listening and speaking skills; phonemic awareness analysis, print awareness, grammar skills, vocabulary skills; literature comprehension; and writing readiness. The goals of the reading program is to instill a love of reading within all students by introducing engaging texts and authors. Helping students discover the different purposes for reading by exploring sub genres, using worksheets, hands-on projects and art. State standards are adhered to in this course, and noted on the unit overlooks.
