Description
In this 6th grade Language Arts course, students will focus on developing their reading, writing, listening, speaking, discussion, reflection, and viewing skills. The curriculum will include reading strategies, critical thinking skills, and vocabulary building to enhance reading comprehension. Students will read various genres, including fiction, nonfiction, and poetry, and apply reading strategies to improve comprehension. The course will also focus on narrative, informational, and argumentative writing to strengthen writing ability. The ultimate objective of the course is to enhance students' literacy and writing skills. (Semester 1 of 2)
