Description
This Language Arts 7 course aims to enhance students' writing skills by focusing on three specific types of writing: arguments, informative/explanatory texts, and narratives. The course is designed to help students develop their writing skills in terms of organization, development, and style, with a focus on the intended audience and purpose of the writing task. To achieve this, students will analyze a range of literary and informational texts as models for effective writing. Additionally, the course promotes the exploration of diverse perspectives and cultures through reading and listening. Successful completion of this course fulfills the seventh-grade English requirement. (semester 1 of 2)
