Description
In these short classes created especially for younger attention spans, your child will be introduced to the alphabet letters and sounds of each letter. This class meets for 25 minutes covers letters Aa-Zz. Learners are invited to stay and go through the alphabet as long as they like. Some kids like to rotate through the class 2-3 times for review!
Learners can bring blank paper and markers, crayons or pencils. After each meeting, students will also be able to print and enjoy some additional fun activity sheets as a support to students who wish to continue practicing at home. You are invited to bring your practice page "homework" back to the next class to share and review!
In every lesson:
1. Alphabet Song Time: We will sing a fun video version of the alphabet song.
2. Show & Tell Time: We will share a show and tell item that goes with the letter of the day.
3. Look for the Letter Time: Students will enjoy finding objects that start with each letter through a fun, child- friendly interactive lesson.
4. Quick Games: Students will learn to recognize the upper and lower case form of each letter, and match it to the sound it makes.
5. Write Time: Students will learn how to write the letter of the day and will begin practice both the upper and lowercase letter. All efforts are praised!
6. Draw Time: We will draw a picture for each letter (with guidance). I can provide a color page instead for very young learners. Please ask for this accommodation as needed.
7. Share & Goodbyes!

It is best to take the class from a quiet place. We leave cameras and mics on so that we can interact. Feel free to mute if some background noise takes place. Please be ready to un-mute the mic for your child if they need assistance.
Please turn on your camera at the beginning of the class, so that I can verify your learner.
Learners should bring blank paper or a notebook, and markers, crayons or colored pencils/ pens. I can provide a page for coloring or traceable letters upon request for learner who would prefer more support.
Learners can bring a show and tell item that starts with the letter of the day.
