This Grade 8 Math course centers around three crucial areas: (1) reasoning and formulating expressions and equations, including modeling data with linear equations, solving linear equations, and linear systems; (2) understanding functions and using them to describe quantitative relationships; (3) analyzing 2D and 3D space and figures using distance, angle, similarity, and congruence, and applying the Pythagorean Theorem, building strong foundational math skills. (semester 1 of 2)
