Description
This Math of Personal Finance course builds upon concepts learned in Algebra I and Geometry and applies them to practical real-life situations such as personal finance. Students will explore topics such as personal income, exponential growth, taxes, credit, loans, payments, leasing and purchasing, stocks, insurance, and retirement planning. The goal of this course is to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to make informed financial decisions and plan for their future. (semester 1 of 2)
