Description
This Secondary Math III course is designed to integrate and build upon students' prior knowledge, with content organized into four critical areas and units. Students will apply probability and statistical methods to draw conclusions from data. The course will expand their understanding of functions to include polynomial, rational, and radical functions. In addition, students will extend their study of trigonometry beyond right triangles to include general triangles. Finally, the course will culminate in the creation of models and contextual problem-solving that brings together all of the students' experience with functions and geometry. (semester 1 of 2)
