Description
In Spanish 1, students will engage in authentic cultural experiences to develop their abilities to interpret, present, and interact in the Spanish language. Through class discussions and activities, students will improve their comprehension, vocabulary, cultural awareness, communication strategies, and language proficiency. The course focuses on developing basic communicative skills and functions for Novice learners. To advance to Spanish 2, students must demonstrate a minimum language proficiency level of Novice Mid. (semester 1 of 2)
