Description
Doesn't English seem a bit - well, weird? This class will delve into the origins and etymologies of some of our most common, everyday words. We'll finally figure out the reasons for that weird <d> in <Wednesday> or the <r> in <February>, if <hamburger> is really a compound word, and why in the world there is a silent <w> in <two>. It's a short and sweet class that will help shed some light on the oddities of English!
