Description

This US Government & Citizenship course for high schoolers aims to develop knowledgeable and engaged citizens who can actively participate in public life. Understanding how to be an effective and responsible citizen is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the United States' democratic system. By the end of the course, students will have a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental ideas, protections, privileges, structures, and economic systems that shape the lives of citizens within the American political system. Moreover, students will complete the United States Citizenship exam required for graduation, thereby demonstrating their mastery of essential knowledge for citizenship. (semester 1 of 1)
