This class is available on a drop-in or recurring basis on Outschool. Enrolling in the class, the first week of meetings will be paid for, and you will be subscribed to a renewal every week. While most learners stay long-term to learn about every state and build relationships with their classmates, you are welcome to stop your subscription at any point to end the recurring payments and weekly attendance. 

Schedule

This live class meets two days per week and is designed for a small group to ensure a personalized learning experience. Each meeting focuses on one state, so it takes 25 weeks to complete all 50 states. Each class stands alone, so it is not necessary to learn about every state, but it is fun to complete a full collection of cat-state art!

About Mewnited States Class

This unique class combines art, geography, and social studies to learn about the United States. Each session focuses on: 

• State Facts: Discover interesting aspects such as capitals, birds, climates, landmarks, and more. 
• Creative Expression: Transform newfound knowledge into creative art by drawing states as cats, retaining information through handwork. 
• Engagement: Participate in an optional mini extension activity like a word search or word unscramble to reinforce learning.
