Description

The agricultural education course in veterinary science covers the basics of animal care. This competency-based course covers animal behavior, anatomical structures, animal body systems, safety, disease, parasites, feeding, animal control and restraint, and general animal care. Using virtual reality, students will practice equipment identification, standard veterinary procedures, and filling prescriptions, and more. Upon completion of this course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to earn a digital badge in veterinary science. They will also be better prepared for the Veterinary Science certification exam.
