Description

In this 6th grade World Civilizations course, students will explore the histories and cultures of major regions worldwide, including Europe, Latin America, Canada, Mexico, Central America/the Caribbean, Russia, Africa, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The course is organized into four main components: History, Geography, Civics, and Economics. Through studying significant people, places, and events in world history, students will enhance their problem-solving, information processing, and map reading skills. (semester 1 of 2)
