Description

This World History course for high schoolers provides an in-depth analysis of global events and issues throughout history, starting from the earliest evidence of human existence to the present day. Students will explore a broad range of topics such as the Neolithic Revolution, the growth of world religions, patterns in world trade, the influence of classical civilizations, technology diffusion, colonization, imperialism, global conflict, modern revolutions, and independence movements. The course encourages students to draw connections between significant historical events and current issues, enhancing their personal relevance and deepening their understanding of the modern world. (semester 1 of 2)
