Description
World Literature: A Full-Year High School Course One-year is a college-prep-level study guide bundle that guides teens through the literature portion of an ELA credit.
World Literature is a no-busywork, college-prep-level bundle of nine literature study guides that comes with information on how to level up to Honors for teens interested in powering up their transcripts. All 7Sisters literature study guides emphasize inferential thinking rather than simple comprehension questions. The guides all have the goal:
"Don't kill the book!"
In other words, we don't kill fun and inspiration of literature by teaching every single literature analysis skill with every book. Instead, we aim for one or two analysis skills in each guide. We find that teens find this helps them enjoy their literature and learn the concepts more comfortably.
Each literature study guide includes:
- background information
- vocabulary
- supplemental ideas
- answer keys
- information for leveling up to honors
World Literature High School titles covered by these study guides include:
- The Epic of Gilgamesh (ancient text - author unknown)
- Antigone by Sophocles
- Plato's Republic
- The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas
- Les Miserables by Victor Hugo
- Uncle Vanya by Anton Chekhov

The other document is the answer key, intended for the parent. The introductory information for using this curriculum is included in both files.
(Note: there is no answer key for The Picture of Dorian Gray, however parent information is included.)
