Description
Advanced Algebra and Math SAT 1:1 Tutoring, taught by a veteran math teacher from Maryland. As a teacher with 30 years of experience, I will help your learner with SAT, exams, etc.
I will fully support and lead your learner through homework or test preparation. If I find any gaps, I provide a mini lesson. If you are looking for the highest quality preparation for the SAT, one-to-one sessions with an experienced tutor is the way to go. I have been teaching classes for the SAT since 2003. I have a record of helping students make significant improvements in their scores, which has resulted in the opportunity to attend highly selective colleges. My background includes masters's degrees in engineering, master's degrees in math and education, and teaching certificates in math (high/middle) and Sp Ed.
Topics include:
Weekly rotation of different concepts your student needs to know for the math segment of the SAT. I target the instruction beginning at the most basic level for each concept, assuming the learners are above average skill level.
