Description
Is your learner wild about axolotls? Here is their chance to meet a couple of axolotl animal ambassadors that are in my collection! We will discuss (with help from a PowerPoint) all the fun facts about them and their wild counterparts, learn about their natural history, the perils they face, how to be a keeper to an axolotl if they want to have one as a pet one day, and why scientists are so interested in them.
At the end, we'll have a Q&A session, where students could ask their questions, all while we meet two of my axolotl ambassadors and watch me feed them some treats.
Please note: This class is taught with PowerPoint in the first part of the class and then there will be a Q&A session, where learners can ask questions, while watching live axolotls be fed.
With over 20 years of caring for axolotls in zoos, aquariums, and rescues, these are my absolute favorite animal to share with others.
If your learner has axolotl toys, t-shirts, costumes, they are most welcome!
