Description
Hi homeschool families!
If you have a student that has been diagnosed with dyslexia or you suspect show signs of dyslexia, I can help your family. I am a former special education teacher and a current dyslexia tutor. I utilize the Wilson Reading System, a reading intervention based on Orton-Gillingham science of reading research, and other appropriate curricula or tools as needed. I am confident I can fill in the gaps. I meet students at their functional level and address any anxiety they have around struggling with reading whether they have a diagnosis or not. I have successfully taught primary students with disabilities to adults online how to read. All my students make skill-based progress. I progress monitor my students to demonstrate this.
Please check out my website to learn more about my training and contact me if we are a good match. Reach out with the best times to call you and your time zone if you are interested.
Your reading teacher,
Elisabeth
