Description
Come explore a different aspect of Earth science—such as geology, weather, ecosystems, the Earth’s layers, the water cycle, and biodiversity, vibrant landscapes, textured rock formations, and whimsical representations of natural phenomena like rainbows and clouds. There will be hands-on art projects. Fun facts will enhance their understanding and spark their imagination.
We will be using a variety of medium, from paints and crayons to natural materials such as leaves and stones. Practices of using eco-friendly materials will be included while making art from recycled materials and nature-sourced items.
Each class will include simple, guided activities students will be able to complete at home, ensuring that the exploration of Earth science and creativity continues beyond our virtual classroom.
As a community of young artists, students will have opportunities to share their creations and ideas with peers in a supportive and encouraging environment. A final showcase of our completed projects will be available to share with loved ones virtually.
Neurodivergency Specializations and Accommodations
Students with neurodivergency challenges will be given the time and space as well as the step by step instructions in order to create their own masterpieces with as much time needed.
