This offering is a self-pace mini class for parents/guardians to help them give more meaningful feedback on their learners' written submissions. It's geared primarily toward homeschooling educators of middle and high school students. 

Giving meaningful feedback on learners' rough and final drafts is the most important part of writing instruction. It's in these specific, personalized suggestions that learners really learn the nuance of language, how to meet the needs of an audience, and what their own revision process needs to look like. 

Giving feedback can be intimidating and frustrating, however, and this class aims to make it easier for you! 

Broken into four sections that each contain primary and supplemental materials, you can move through it quickly to get the help you need right away or move through it more slowly to explore the topic in depth. 

Instruction is delivered through videos, summary documents, and reflection assignments. 

Completion of this mini class will leave you with a deeper understanding of the why behind feedback as well as specific, immediately applicable strategies for how to deliver it!
