Secular Curriculum
I'm a lifelong educator who began tutoring before I was even out of high school! Helping other people feel more empowered in their own learning is a passion, but it wasn't until I found myself unexpectedly homeschooling my own child that I saw the potential for this passion within the homeschooling community.
I spent many years teaching in traditional, in-person classrooms, and I always focused on learner autonomy, meetings students where they are, and creating individualized opportunities for challenge and growth. The homeschooling world opens up all of those in new and exciting ways, giving me the chance to provide truly individualized instruction while still providing a sense of community and structure.
My classes aim to provide learners with topics worth discussing. "It's easier to write when you have something to say" is a quote I've used more than once, and I believe that my classes reflect it! I want learners to feel inspired, creative, and heard.
