Hello there! Many times children benefit from individual instruction addressing their own specific needs or goals. I tutor children of elementary ages in all academic areas including reading, math, writing (both handwriting and creative writing). I also work with children one on one in the areas of public speaking, expressing themselves verbally and basic social skills. The link will take you to an option for tutoring that meets TWICE PER WEEK since that is my personal recommendation for tutoring frequency. It will yield a much quicker result.  Prior to our first class, I will ask for specific goals you have in mind, including any issues your child may be experiencing. Our first class may include a quick evaluation (or more in depth one if the parent requests one) and then I will develop a plan to best help your child. 

I have tutored children for more than thirty years and enjoy watching their eyes light up when they finally begin to understand a concept. Elementary years are foundational for future academic success and addressing them early prevents frustration and improves confidence.
