  Comprehending mathematics may not come naturally to every student, but it should, at least, be fun and engaging! When students can’t see how math problems will be relevant to them in life they become less motivated to actually learn the concepts and instead memorize enough just to get a passing grade.

  Our personalized 20-minute one-on-one tutoring sessions encourage learners to strive for mastery by working at their individual pace and tailoring the learning objectives to fit their current level of study. 

  In our private tutoring sessions, we reduce the stress that typically comes along with learning a new math concept. Here's the best part: we do it all through games! That's right – forget about boring textbooks and tedious worksheets. We're going to play and laugh our way through difficult math concepts and intimidating math objectives.

  LOCATION: We, currently, utilize ZOOM for our virtual classroom meetings.

Important Disclaimer

  Our math game sessions are highly interactive and (sometimes) competitive. Participants will have a chance to compete against (and also work with) the instructor or the game. Not all students will win. It is important that they are able to exhibit good sportsmanship regardless if they win or lose.

  Additionally, this class is designed for teaching and practicing the math concepts mentioned and mastering them further. The instructor will help students along by giving tips, introducing them to new methods of solving and encouraging them to ask questions. However, we only meet for 20 minutes and some students may need more time to work with a certain math concept or method before they fully grasp it. If you are interested in booking additional private 1-on-1 math game sessions (or extending the time) for your child, please do not hesitate to send us a message. We are happy to help!
