A 6 week digital art look at fascinating artists in the Modern Art era - the name Picasso is synonymous with Art - let's learn more about Modern Art!

**This class assumes an understanding of whatever digital app your student works in! I will not be teaching the apps in this class, rather USING the apps to explore art history through the various mediums and methods they provide** if your student needs to learn how to use Procreate, please see my Intro series before enrolling in the "Meet The Masters" classes!

Through the six  weeks of our study of  Picasso and Klee we will look at the art movements of Surrealism and Cubism.

Weeks 1-5 Pablo Picasso: 

• Week 1- The use of color: Rose Period. Color themes Homework: Finish Classwork, video
• Week 2- Cubism and using digital apps to aid in a cubist rendering Homework: Complete classwork - Cubist guitar
• Week 3- Continuous line, contour, blind contour drawings Homework: Finish classwork, self portrait
• Week 4-  Blue Period Homework: Finish classwork, escape room color theory
• Week 5: Picasso portraits Homework: Finish classwork, do a pet drawing "Picasso Style", analysis "Guernica".

Weeks 6 Paul Klee:

• Week 6- Geometric Lines, warm colors Homework: Finish Classwork
