Classes hosted on Zoom on Outschool

In this class, we will create stunning kawaii art using Procreate, a popular program for iOS devices. Some of the images you see in the cover image above are inspired by Pinterest. Throughout the course, we'll use the monoline brush, create multiple layers, and utilize the symmetry tool. 

Students should have a basic knowledge of Procreate, including familiarity with the color palette, brushes, and layers. We’ll begin each session with introductions to foster comfort and a sense of community. Students will also have opportunities to share their art at the beginning and end of each class. After introductions, I will mirror my Procreate screen on Zoom and guide students step-by-step in creating kawaii paintings. Learners can interact with me and each other throughout the class. I am a patient, fun, creative, interactive, and kind teacher, eager to create art with you!

Students will learn the following techniques and functions, among others, throughout this class:

- Drawing Assist

- Layers

- Magic Wand Tool

- Quick Shapes

- Quick Fill

A tentative schedule (subject to change based on project completion time) is outlined below:

**Day 1:** Introductions, share art, create a cat cup, share art  

**Day 2:** Share art, create cameras, share art  

**Day 3:** Share art, create a city moon scene, share art  

**Day 4:** Share art, create a store, share art  

**Day 5:** Share art, create a gameboy, share art
