This class is offered on Friday mornings from 9:30-10:45 EST through May 2025. Students wishing to join will need to schedule a consultation with the teacher to determine if this class is the best fit.

This course meets the learning outcomes of a High School level 3 Spanish course, and is conducted almost entirely in Spanish. This course began in August. Students interested in joining will need to have the equivalent background of students who have already completed 2.5 high school years of Spanish. A free evaluation is available to confirm that the class is a good fit for the student.

 The live class meets for 75 minutes a week and there are 3.5 hours of independent work assigned weekly. The instructor uses SOMOS and Huellas as curriculum. These are comprehensible-input model programs and will help the students acquire vocabulary naturally. There is an emphasis on culture, and grammar is also explicitly taught and practiced in context.
