This course will be on Tuesday evenings beginning September 17 for 6 weeks and will be at 7PM EDT for 30 minutes. I will create a Google Classroom where I will post a link to a recorded version of the class in case you miss it. Separate consultation sessions will also be offered during the 6 weeks for questions, clarification and assistance in applying skills.

If you don't yet have a GMAIL account, please set one up prior to the session. We'll be immediately accessing the Google "waffle" during the 1st session.

GOOGLE SUITE and GOOGLE CLASSROOM are essential to the teacher who desires to create an easily accessible format for students. Most of anything you'd want to do is free. The application is more compatible with all users' devices than any other format. The only requirement is to have a Gmail account to participate.

Class participants will learn:

• How to set up a Google classroom
• How to create a banner in Canva to put into the header of the class
• Add participants and communicate with them directly either individually or as a group
• Add a collaborator instructor
• Post to the stream
• Create and share Google Docs, Google Slides, and use Google Calendar for due dates and appointments
• Enter assignments and grades
• Create categories or units to organize materials, resources and links
