I work Monday through Saturday morning Eastern Times and accommodate students in all time zones including Asia.  Please feel free to send me time requests.

Enter the world of Waldorf education, gifting your child with a relaxed, beautiful space to grow in reading skills while receiving an elite private school education at home!  

In this private guided reading course, I work 1:1 with students on phonics, reading comprehension, multisyllabic words, and grammar skills through beautiful stories, drawing, and writing work. I work with beginning, struggling, grade level, or gifted readers, helping students to feel confident and to love reading.  I also do novel studies with vocabulary, comprehension, and character analysis for older students.  

Come and join me for a private reading session that will include books for your individual child's interests... dogs, cats, horses, holidays, superheroes, dinosaurs, princesses, mythological creatures... as I work to find books that work with your student's interests and reading level to keep them feeling successful, peaceful, and happy with reading.  

In all of my classes, I use evidence-based strategies that work for all students including those with reading difficulties and dyslexia.  I keep children engaged and excited to participate throughout the lesson.  For older learners, I will assess a student's reading level in our first session and work from there.  We will read stories, answer comprehension questions, draw as a pre-writing activity, write sentences and read what we write.  Parents will receive a weekly update sharing what we did in our class together and can monitor progress at any time.  I will do a reading assessment in our first class together and parents will receive the results.  Perfect for homeschool evaluations.  

This class is perfect for a Waldorf homeschooler or a Waldorf student who would like to supplement or families looking to learn using Waldorf methods (whether struggling or advanced).  Please reach out to me with a day/time that works for you if you do not see one listed.  Unique learners, homeschoolers, and unschoolers are welcome.

I always work at the best pace for the individual students and cater all classes to their individual strengths and weaknesses.  My goal is for students to feel successful so they want to keep reading and writing.  I have worked with thousands of students around the world both in person and on online to help them to feel confident and peaceful in reading and to help them to choose books that they love.

My classes are calming and peaceful, helping students to work at their level and beyond with scaffolding for all students.  I help students with ADHD, Autism, Auditory Processing, and Down's Syndrome to stay focused and engaged through multi-sensory lessons.  I can work with students with dysgraphia and dyslexia and help with directionality with writing. I also work with gifted students to challenge and work with them on their level and beyond.
