Chelsey Kolenda

Hello wonderful learners, families, and fellow educators! My name is Chelsey Kolenda and I am an elementary school educator, youth theatre director, educational products developer, and lifelong learner, passionate about nurturing the creative voice inside each child I work with. 

I hold a degree in Elementary Education, with a focus in Indigenous Education, from the University of British Columbia and have been teaching elementary school in Canada for the past seven years. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Theatre and English Literature from the University of British Columbia. I have over fourteen years experience working with children, including designing and leading arts-based summer camps, directing full-length youth theatre productions, and instructing children in the dramatic arts. 

I carry the values of building community, strengthening social-emotional competencies, and promoting creativity into all of my work. On this website, you will find two types of listings: my online classes and my educational products. No matter the subject, my online classes incorporate plenty of chances for discussion, fun games, and arts experiences, in order to truly bring learning to life. My educational products range from both short and full-length play scripts to engaging worksheets and project guides.
