Hi! My name is Jessica B. I've been teaching/tutoring homeschool students, traditional school students, and college students for sixteen+ years. I have a B.A. in English and a Minor in Music. I was also educated in American Sign Language under Deaf instructors and volunteered for a year at a Regional School for the Deaf and Blind. I've self-published a couple of children's books and had a young adult novel traditionally published. 

Over the years I've worked with students with a variety of different learning styles, including students with adhd and dyslexia. I love bringing joy and creativity to each lesson by discovering each student's individual learning style and incorporating their interests into lesson plans when possible.

I offer a wide range of live online courses, from Writing (both essay and creative), Literature, beginner American Sign Language and Piano. These courses meet on Zoom.

AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE for beginners is offered for 1st-12th grades, either through one-on-one tutoring, or in small groups separated by grade (1st-3rd, 4th-5th, middle school, high school).

WRITING courses and LITERATURE courses are offered to both middle school and high school, either through one-on-one tutoring or in small groups.

PIANO lessons are offered online for middle and high school students in one-on-one tutoring.
