I started ARTventurous Animals so I could stay home with my baby in 2021 (he's 3 now!). I had been teaching Kindergarten and fully intended to take a 3 month maternity leave and return to the classroom. Little did I know how life would completely change! Around 7 months pregnant, I started to feel so sad any time I thought of leaving my baby to go back to work. Then, we started researching the expense of childcare in our area. After realizing that nearly my entire paycheck would go towards paying for someone else to watch my son all day, I knew I had to become a work from home mom. It was the best decision I ever made.
It's now 2024, and so much has changed.
I have a thriving online business where I teach homeschooled kids how to love art.
I've moved with my family to Bangkok, Thailand.
I've had another baby and have been able to stay home with her.
I can't wait to see what happens next!
