Algebra 1.5 is a spiral review class covering Algebra 1 topics. Prealgebra topics may also appear, especially as steps. Topics may also include looks ahead to Algebra 2 and beyond.

Each topic will go through this cycle:

• Learners will receive a preparation assignment and try it on their own.
• After trying preparation assignments, learners can attend the live session to share their strategies and questions. During the live session I will help with problems learners are still stuck on, and as time permits point out related expansions of the topic.
• Learners can also watch the recording after class.

Some topics will also have an extension assignment, which learners can choose to do. Learners can also suggest their own extensions and ask questions about them.

Learners' questions and posted strategies, in anonymized form, may be worked back in to lesson content for the benefit of further learners.
