Algebra 1.5 is a spiral review class covering Algebra 1 topics. Prealgebra topics may also appear, especially as steps. Topics may also include looks ahead to Algebra 2 and beyond. Since this is a spiral review class, Algebra 1.5 modules do not need to be taken in any order.

This module covers these topics:

• Multiplying polynomials
• Linear equation writing
• Geometry applications (rectangles and triangles)
• Arithmetic and geometric sequences

Each topic will go through this cycle:

• Learners will receive a preparation assignment and try it on their own.
• After trying preparation assignments, learners can choose to watch tutorial videos on the topics of the assignment.
• Learners can post their strategies and any further questions they have.

Some topics will also have an extension assignment, which learners can choose to do. Learners can also suggest their own extensions and ask questions about them.

Questions from enrolled learners will generally be answered within two school/business days. Questions from subscription learners will be answered as time permits.

Learners' questions and posted strategies, in anonymized form, may be worked back in to lesson content for the benefit of further learners.
