Prerequisite: Students need prior experience with MLA essay format and citations. Heavy emphasis on writing academic essays utilizing the MLA format.

American Government Class Information

This course promises to be an enlightening experience for students! The goal of American Government is to deepen understanding of the principles and ideals established by the Founding Fathers, as well as the structure and functions of government branches and the policy challenges our nation faces. Students will engage in a Mock Congress, applying concepts learned throughout the course. With a strong emphasis on critical thinking and discussion, this interactive class will analyze Supreme Court cases and original documents from the framers, fostering a rich exploration of American governance.

Please note that students intending to study for dual credit will have to enroll with LeTourneau University and pay their associated tuition and fees
