This class is available for purchase NOW :) It is intended to be taken in the fall, as it contains seasonal songs/activities (fall, Thanksgiving, winter, Christmas).

Full payment via Zelle is required. (Zelle is a secure payment method that is free through most banks and credit unions).

Once payment has been received, the 1st lesson materials will be sent via the email address provided. After that, lesson materials will be sent weekly each Monday morning.

In this 16 lesson class, students will learn the basics of music, such as rhythms (note names and note values), instruments and note letter names. This class is intended to be taken in the fall (starting in August/September), with 1 class each week (with 1 week off for Thanksgiving). There are several seasonal lessons (fall, Thanksgiving, winter, Christmas) and lessons build in content. 

Each month the students will learn a traditional hymn and will learn about a famous composer. Most lessons include a worksheet that should be printed before class. All of the work will be done during class, there is no outside work. Each lesson is approximately 30 minutes in length and contains content I have taught in various Christian schools.  

These are the songs students will learn in this class: 
September: Amazing Grace, The Star-Spangled Banner
October: It Is Well With My Soul
November: Count Your Blessings, Give Thanks
December: Silent Night, Joy to the World and Go Tell It On the Mountain.

September: Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Sebastian Bach
October: Sergei Prokofiev 
November: George Frederic Handel
December: Franz Joseph Haydn.
