Non Secular Curriculum
I started piano lessons at the age of 5 and have been passionate about music ever since!
I have 20 years of teaching experience in K-12 Music classrooms, including General Music, Music Theory, Music History, Ukulele, Band, Choir and Recorder group classes, in addition to private ukulele and piano lessons.
I have Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and a Master's degree in Music. I am currently K-12 Music certified.
I have been teaching virtual music classes for a small private school for the past years so I also have experience with online teaching and learning.
I learned to play the ukulele while living on the beautiful island of Guam, where I lived for 18 years. My ukulele, which I named "Marvin", was handcrafted in Hawaii. I currently live in New York state with my husband, son, Basset Hound, cat and 5 goldfish!
I currently teach 1:1 piano and ukulele lessons for ages 7+. I also teach 16 week semester self-paced pre-recorded Music classes for Grades 1-3 and Grades 4-6, ideal for homeschool students.
I also sell sheet music that I have arranged for piano, ukulele or 2 and 3-part vocals, both religious and secular.

In this 2-lesson self-paced class, students will learn to sing 10 traditional Christmas carols with ukulele accompaniment.

In this 16-session pre-recorded Fall General Music class, students will learn the basics of music, traditional hymns and composers.

In this 2 session self-paced class, students will learn the books of both the Old and New Testament through song.

In these weekly 1:1 piano lessons, students 7+ at all levels will learn to play their piano/keyboard using a set of 4 method books (Primer, Level 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, 4 or Level 5).

In these weekly 1:1 private ukulele lessons, students age 7+ at all levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced) will learn to pick and strum their ukulele using method books based on their current level of playing.
