About the class:

This math course is designed to support students in mastering multiplication facts from 0 through 12 using patterns, rules, and mnemonic devices. Rather than following a strict order, we will focus on learning them by level of difficulty and patterns (please see the weekly lesson breakdown below). The class will be highly interactive, with plenty of discussions, modeling, and independent practice. It's important for students to have a strong understanding of addition facts. Students should plan on dedicating 15 to 20 minutes to daily homework, as this structured practice will help them master one fact group before moving on to the next group in the next class. If students are unable to commit to the weekly work, this class may not be the best fit for them. 

Class Format:

Our weekly live class meetings will be held via Zoom. Students will access their lessons, print worksheets, submit assignments, join discussions, and view their feedback through our classroom platform, Canvas.

I strive to keep our class sizes small so we will have between 4-6 learners in class. This is a good number for student interaction:)

Lesson 9: Mastering 6s, 7s, and 8s

Lesson 10: Review, Reinforce, and Celebrate
