We will explore ethics through dilemmas that come up in favorite books, movies, and shows, such as Harry Potter, Ender's Game, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Hunger Games, The Good Place and The Office.

Availability

If you have a group of at least 4 students who would like to take this class together, please contact me and we can set up mutually convenient times, dates, and number of class sessions.  You can also tell me which books and shows your group would like to focus on.  Classes will take place on zoom, and participants can pay me through PayPal or Zelle. The cost is $18 per student per class session.

Description

Studying ethics is fun, and it helps people develop critical thinking and logical reasoning skills and their own moral codes.  A great way to do this is through the lens of favorite books, movies, and shows.    

In our class discussions we will explore ethics through dilemmas that come up in the following:

Harry Potter 

The Hobbit 

Avatar:  The Last Airbender

Ender’s Game 

The Hunger Games 

The Good Place

The Simpsons

The Office
