Join us on a journey through the evolution of the United States government, from its origins to the present day. In this Foundations of Government course, we will delve into primary sources and writings that illuminate the Founding Fathers' original intent as we study the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. We will analyze key concepts such as federalism, separation of powers, limitations of power, taxation and spending, as well as domestic and international relations, all through a Christian worldview. This one-semester, high school-level course is designed to equip students with the knowledge necessary to become informed and responsible citizens.
