In this class, students will establish a strong foundation in the French language by learning to communicate about daily life, preferences, interests, food, shopping, travel, and more, using both present and past tenses. The curriculum emphasizes all four communication skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. To foster a fun and immersive environment, French will be used as much as possible, while English will be employed to explain grammar and introduce cultural concepts. Online tools will provide students with frequent access to audiovisual materials featuring native speakers, songs, and cultural videos. Additionally, students will explore cultural differences across the French-speaking world and discover the many beautiful regions where French is spoken.
