Explore the world’s most remarkable buildings and architects in this semester-long course! High school students will be introduced to architectural history and design through freehand drawing, design exercises, and analysis. The course will focus on building development and the strategies employed by architects, featuring a diverse range of architects and their works. Weekly assignments will include sketchbook exercises, drawing or design tasks, and reading assignments with discussion board participation. Additionally, students will complete three projects throughout the semester.
