This spring semester course for junior high students (ages 11-14) will delve into various elements and practices of art and creativity. It provides foundational instruction in drawing, painting, and sculpting, covering concepts such as light and shadow, form and volume. The course will also introduce artistic critique and collaboration. Students will gain essential skills for advancing in artistic studies and develop an appreciation for art, whether they pursue further artistic endeavors or seek a deeper understanding of the art around them.
