Neurodivergency Specializations and Accommodations
This program is is geared toward learners of all types.
Due to the multisensory nature of the methodolgy (ex. giving clear step by step instructions verbally, kinesthetically and visually, exploring the "why" behind a process, making connections to nature and society, manipulating virtual and physical objects) this program is well suited for students with neurodiversities such as ADHD, Anxiety, and Math Anxiety.
Having worked for many years both one on one and in small groups, I am experienced at recognizing when a student needs instruction a different way and am happy to accomodate. Most students I have worked with over the years have had some level of ADHD or Anxiety.
Mental Health is #1 priority in my programs. No learning is possible when we are disregulated.
Having a tough day and trying to get through math is just too much? Let's take a break. Let's try to regulate and find the next right step, together.
Intake Assessments give us an opportunity for us to discuss these details prior to beginning the course.
