Description
What is Number Sense?
Number sense is fluidity and flexibility with numbers. It is a deep understanding of individual numbers, their quantities, and how they relate to one another within the number system. (Keep in mind this is over time, and will depend on the age and/or current level of the child
Lessons will be:
•Structured and Incremental
•Math manipulatives and/or Virtual math tools.
•Focused on verbal reasoning - Learners can “talk through” math problems and concepts. Using written and spoken words can help learners understand the basic concepts.

- Number and Operations in Base Ten
- Measurement and Data
- Geometry
Neurodivergency Specializations and Accommodations
Dyscalculia intervention trained.
Extensive Science of Reading and Orton-Gillingham Training.
Experience with ADHD students. Wait time, Redirection, Movement Breaks, Academic Games
Dysgraphia - some training - Variety of options for writing, math activities, movement breaks.
