Are you looking for effective online reading tutoring for your struggling reader or child with dyslexia?  In this course, students will be instructed in a 1:1 online setting by a certified reading specialist using EBLI (Evidence Based Literacy Instruction).  This is a structured linguistic phonics approach which develops phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, comprehension, handwriting and spelling.  EBLI is systematic, explicit and multisensory instruction.    It is aligned with the science of reading and often yields much quicker results than traditional methods that target dyslexia.   Many students reach their reading potential in months instead of years.

While these tutoring sessions are geared toward learners of all types, 1:1 instruction is ideal for those with dyslexia and/or ADHD because pacing, prompting, and error correction can be tailored to the individual student.  "Brain breaks" can be given if needed, and distractions are minimized. This setting also enables me to get to know the student and adjust instruction accordingly.
