Summer is pretty open (June 1-July 31). 

During the school year, my availability is typically Sundays 3-9pm Eastern, Mon-Thurs 6-9pm Eastern. 

Description

Teaching AP History courses can be challenging, even for the seasoned veteran. This course is a 1:1 session to coach the teacher who is new or needs guidance in all the nuance that an AP Prep demands. 

The initial session can consist of fact finding to determine pain points, and to determine if future sessions might be needed, or if one will do. 

The following areas are possible topics to cover (though not exclusive!)

HOW TO

  • write a DBQ, LEQ, SAQ
  • teach the DBQ, LEQ, SAQ
  • best practices and strategies for Multiple Choice Questions
  • develop an AP lesson plan
  • develop a curriculum map
  • develop a student-friendly syllabus
  • grade all those essays!
  • teach students to grade their own essays
  • coach your students to success on the exam
