My innovative approach to education will help you discover and develop your full potential as a life-long learner. You might be an AP teacher who is feeling overwhelmed or confused, a student who just doesn't get it. From content to skills, from multiple choice to essays, I have lessons prepared for almost every social studies course (not economics), and specialize in AP World, AP European, and APUSH. I can also tailor single or multiple sessions to benefit each student. I know what it takes for you to succeed in the classroom and on the exam.
I host a bi-monthly podcast, called "AP History Help," which just finished its first season. AP History Help is the premier podcast for all students taking (or thinking about taking) AP History classes in high school. From skills to content, to tips and pointers, not only will Wendy help you get through AP US History, AP World, or AP European History, she will coach you to success on the AP exam.

In addition to classes and tutoring, I also mentor teachers who are new to teaching history, especially AP History courses. I've been there with very little support and I sure wish I had someone like me to walk me through the process, or just bounce questions off of. Students will learn the equivalent of the first semester of high school US History through presentation, discussion, and enrichment activities taught by a certified teacher, utilizing state standards.
AP History Help
Teaching AP History courses can be challenging, even for the seasoned veteran. This course is a 1:1 session to coach the teacher who is new or needs guidance in all the nuance that an AP Prep demands.

Students will learn Modern World History from the Middle Ages to the French Revolution taught using a standards-based curriculum by a certified teacher, with a strong focus on multiple perspectives!

In this semester-long class, students will be learning about all aspects of US Government by learning the Articles of the Constitution and how it is still relevant today. #academic

Students will be given expert coaching in their history class; this might include AP World History, AP Euro, APUSH, or any History essay writing skills. The focus can also be strategies to improve learning, answer multiple choice questions or more!
AP History Help
In this 18 lesson class, students will see how The Constitution is alive and well each and every day in many ways, more than just checks and balances! It is a great class for those needing to take Civics or US Gov from a certified & endorsed teacher.
AP History Help
In this 4-week flexible schedule class, students will learn the skills needed to write a killer DBQ essay on the AP World History, AP US History, or AP European History exam including how to get a near-perfect grade.

This course is meant to provide students with an overview of each of the main religions in the order in which they were founded (Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam).

In this course, students will learn how to keep track of their time so that they may better manage it. They will learn how to track their time, identify their priorities, create a useful "to-do" list, identify time wasters, & increase productivity.

These 96 AP World History Unit 8 multiple-choice questions come from a variety of sources. All questions are based on a reading passage, graph, chart, picture, or map (stimulus-based). There are between 2-5 questions per stimulus.
